For director Alfred Ninaus, it wasn’t enough to make “Run Rabbit, Run”, a feature film ABOUT the people in the barracks and their problems – he wanted to make a film WITH the people, who live on the edge of our society. But at first, he encountered seemingly insurmountable difficulties: The people didn’t want to talk about their bleak and hopeless situation in front of the camera. But with a great sense of empathy and sensitivity, Alfred Ninaus succeeded in gaining an insight into the lives of these people, capturing their feelings and conveying them in the form of this documentary.
